Networking is not “cold calling.” It is about having comfortable conversations with people where you exchange useful information. In this session, we will talk about how to network with your personal and professional connections to be introduced to and start having conversations with other people in your target line of work, in your job search plan target industries/organizations, and on your target company/organization list. The ultimate goal of highly effective networking is to move toward and have conversations with decision-makers, those people who can hire you, and/or the people who may influence those decision-makers.
Note: Before you can take this session you need to attend the Creating a Job Search Project Plan session and be working on your Job Search Project Plan.
